Harbour Pointe Hospitality LLC, dba Best Western Harbour Pointe Lakefront is
seeking twenty-five (25) Housekeepers to work at 797 N. State Street St. Ignace
Michigan 49781. The position is full-time and seasonal during the period of April 1, 2026 – November 15, 2026.
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms by emptying wastebaskets and transporting other trash and waste to disposal areas. Sweeping floors, using brooms, mops. Replenishing supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Vacuuming rugs, carpets, and dusting furniture; keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Carrying linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts, keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Load linen and towels into and remove from washing machine, load linen and towels into and remove from Dryers, cleaning hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, breakfast areas, pool area and other work areas so that health standards are met. Observing necessary precautions required to protect guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Must greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing. Shifts of 8 hours. Days of week vary. Business is open 7 days a week.
Employees will work Mon-Sun, an average of 40 hours/wk. Must be able to work any 8-
hour shift within the hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm any day of the week. Days off rotate,
shifts vary, weekends and holidays are required. This job requires continuous movement
and regularly bending. No minimum education is required for the job.
On-the-job training is not provided. The employer will provide workers with all tools,
supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge. Employer will not
provide daily transportation to and from the work site.

The wage is $15.18 per hour. Overtime is available at a rate of $22.77 per hour. All
deductions will be made from paychecks that are required by law. No other deductions will be made unless voluntarily agreed to by the employee. Raises and bonuses available based on performance. Wages will be paid bi-weekly on Monday, and the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Transportation (including one piece of luggage, meals, and to the extent necessary, lodging). Employer guarantees to offer the worker employment or payment for a total number of work hours equal to at least threefourths (75%) of the workdays of each 12-week period.
In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees. The amount of paid sick leave provided may vary depending on the size of the business.
Optional housing is available at the rate of $200 per pay period. The amount will be
deducted from the employee's paycheck if agreed upon. This is not a condition of
employment. In the alternative, the employer will assist the worker to find suitable
housing that is available within walking distance of the worksite.

Job Description
Harbour Pointe Hospitality LLC, dba Best Western Harbour Pointe Lakefront is seeking nine (9) Guest Services to work at 797 N. State Street St. Ignace Michigan 49781. The position is full-time and seasonal during the period of April 1, 2026 – November 15, 2026.
The role of the Guest Services is to greet, register, and assign rooms to guests, support housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems, issue room keys, escort instructions to bellhops, make and confirm reservations, keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers, post charges manually or by using computers, review accounts and charges with guests during the check-out process, record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary, compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests, transmit and receive messages, using telephones or telephone text, answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration utilizing a web-based property management system, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or entertainment support housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning , clean and maintain lobby and common areas, such as restocking supplies and watering plants, prepare for basic food service, such as setting up continental breakfast or coffee and tea supplies, date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages. Must be able to stand and move for long periods of time. Must be able to speak and understand English, handle adversity with ease and diffuse issues that may arise with professionalism. Shifts of 8 hours. Days of week vary. Business is open 7 days a week.

The role of the Breakfast Room Attendant is to set up and maintain the breakfast bar daily. Take inventory of food, beverages & supplies. Prepare & heat simple breakfast food items. During breakfast, keep all breakfast items replenished. Following breakfast, clear and clean tables where hotel guests eat and public areas. Clean the breakfast area, remove trash, wash servicing equipment, and return supplies to storage. Listen and respond to any guest’s complaints, comments or suggestions. Shifts of 8 hours. Days of week vary. Business is open 7 days a week.
